Engineering, NOC and Innovation

Thomas is our NOC manager. At first, Thomas worked in the field of stage and sound engineering and eventually trained as a network engineer. In the meantime, Thomas is head of the NOC and Operations department at NDIX. As a technology fanatic, he also gets involved in many projects on the side and is also part of the NDIX innovation team. If you have any technical questions about your NDIX connection, you can contact him or any other NOC staff member.

As a member of our NOC team, Tom mans our 24-hour helpdesk and ensures the implementation of customer connections and network expansion. Tom worked as a system administrator for an ICT service provider after graduating in computer engineering. There he gained experience in planning complete corporate networks, from start to finish: including installation of equipment, VLAN configuration, installation of services such as Internet and VolP and workstation management. These are valuable experiences that can be put to good use at NDIX, especially in customer contact.

Epke works for the NOC and Operations team, which means she has a lot of contact with customers and suppliers. During her work, she provides information about any questions or information and helps customers with questions or problems with their connection. She also does a lot of work internally on contracts. Before Epke started at NDIX, she was employed in the graphic sector at a printing company and then slipped into the ICT world. After doing the external maintenance of the NDIX NOC at Deltics and NDIX brought the maintenance in-house, she worked for NDIX from then on. What Epke likes most at NDIX is the customer contact, because she shows a lot of commitment so that all customers are satisfied and stay that way.

Klaas has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT sector. He first worked at Enertel for 6 years and then at Ziggo for 10 years. His experience of setting up connections at Ziggo now benefits him at NDIX. Now he is part of the NOC team and works, among other things, on configuring VLAN’s, investigating and troubleshooting, installing equipment in data centres and at various customer sites. Last but not least, he is also involved in the realisation of large projects.

Luuk studied information technology at the University of Twente. As a study assignment for NDIX, he analysed the data traffic in the NDIX network and made the growth of data flows visible. After that, he became part of our NOC team. Here he works, among other things, on the configuration of VLANs, the investigation and rectification of faults and the placement of equipment in data centres and at customer sites. He is also involved in the realisation of projects.

Finance, sekretariat & HR

Within NDIX, Jolanda is responsible for finance and human resources and is also part of the management team. This gives her a dual role that she is very enthusiastic about and which suits her perfectly. In this growing organisation, she finds it great to be able to carry the responsibility for this. A growing company provides a lot of development, change and professionalism in both the financial and HR fields. Jolanda has fulfilled this dual role throughout her career. After her studies in business administration, Jolanda worked for 12.5 years as group controller at Rouweler Group, a company where many activities and processes were present, with several branches, franchises, purchasing worldwide, production and assembly. She therefore brings enough experience with her. Jolanda’s favourite thing is always looking for ways to improve the continuity of the company through numbers and process improvements. Of course, working with people is the most important thing for her.

Rosanne is the first point of contact for all visitors and callers. She successfully completed her secretarial training at the ROC Twente in Hengelo. Rosanne supports the NIDX colleagues in various administrative tasks; for example, she is responsible for replenishing office supplies and keeps track of the calendar. She also takes incoming phone calls and forwards them to the appropriate department and the right NDIX employee. She also welcomes every guest to our premises, offers a delicious cup of coffee and accompanies our guests to the appropriate rooms.

Chantal joined the finance department as Assistant Controller on 1 July 2019. After leaving school, she completed a tourism apprenticeship at MTRO in Zwolle. During this training, she discovered that her heart was more in the back office and, after successfully completing her training, ended up in the finance department at a production company in Vroomshoop. Here she later worked as an employee in the accounting department and made it through night school to become an assistant controller at the Open University in Zwolle. More than 20 years later, Chantal has gained a lot of experience as an assistant controller in various companies in the region. With this experience she contributes to the financial management at NDIX.

Marketing

Dennis is a Senior Account Manager and deals mainly with clients and partners in the Netherlands and Germany. He has been working in the telecoms industry since the beginning of his career. Initially he worked for British Telecom and came to NDIX via a slight diversions. In the meantime, Dennis has been working for NDIX since 2010. For Dennis himself, the most positive thing to emphasise is the pleasant atmosphere within NDIX and the fact that no two days are the same. If you have any questions, feel free to call him or come by!

Dennis has been working for NDIX since 2013 and has since been able to help many customers use the NDIX network as a carrier for their IT infrastructure. With his many years of experience and his technical college degree in technical business administration and marketing, he would be happy to help you too make the most of the NDIX network for your company. In addition to his work for NDIX, he enjoys playing football, skiing, motorcycling and travelling.

Ulrich holds a degree in geography and worked in project management and sales at various companies in the ICT industry before joining NDIX. Ulrich is the contact person at NDIX for customers, partners and interested parties of NDIX in Germany. This includes, in addition to the acquisition and consulting of corporate customers, the information and acquisition of new service and infrastructure partners for the NDIX open broadband model.

Guido was active in sales for telecommunications systems and IT solutions for over 20 years before joining NDIX. He has a deep knowledge in this field and is well connected in Germany. Guido is the contact person for our German customers and partners. He is responsible for the acquisition of new customers and the support of existing customers and partners. Guido is a networker through and through and has contacts to companies in every industry. He attends many networking events. He loves meeting new companies and making contacts. In his spare time, he is active in the shooting club.

Silvia works at NDIX in sales and operations. Among other things, she studied at the University of Twente and then worked as a logistics and administrative assistant for various companies. Now she makes sure that the purchase invoices and administration in the CRM for NDIX are properly processed and checked. What she particularly likes about NDIX is the enthusiasm within the team and the generally good atmosphere in the company.

Kathy gained extensive international experience in commercial roles after her marketing studies at Enschede University of Applied Sciences, which made the marketing field more and more attractive to her. For a long time she was responsible for marketing and communication in an international machine factory. Now Kathy is team leader of marketing within NDIX, where she leads a young, dynamic and enthusiastic marketing team. On the side, she also works as a career and burn-out couch, where she occasionally makes use of her own horses for therapy. According to Kathy, what sets NDIX apart as an employer is its informal culture and manners, giving employees enough freedom and responsibility.

Automatisierung

A true autodidact, Mark is perfectly suited to this industry. With an abbreviated education in ICT and various courses, he made his way into IT and increased his knowledge in the field of technology and graphic design. Mark has worked as a system administrator and in support for large companies. In the meantime he has also been self-employed, creating and managing websites and apps. At NDIX he is both a system administrator and web designer. He finds it fascinating to be part of NDIX’s growth, because innovation and progress are of utmost importance to us.

During his university studies in Software Engineering at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede, Jarno worked on a prototype NDIX customer portal. After his studies, he became part of the software team at NDIX, where he further developed the customer portal and also supervises a young, enthusiastic team of programmers. In addition to his work on the customer portal, he is also working with NOC to develop software that will promote network management.
